DNA Link US is starting its laboratory in San Diego, CA to expand its operations to the US market.
Role:
Initially collaborate with the Bioinformatics team in Seoul to perform the data analysis for US customer samples and ensure the data sets sent to them meet quality standards and customer expectations. After a transition period assume responsibility for data analysis with the support from the Korean Team.
Occasionally Interact with individual customers or the sales team as a technical adviser regarding data analysis needs or to give explanations on the data delivered to them. Participate in defining the data analysis services offering from DNA Link based on what has been observed from the customer needs and requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. or equivalent in biology, bioinformatics, biostatistics, or computational biology.
- At least two years relevant research experience in bioinformatics analysis.
- Experience with NGS Data analysis in the area of genome analysis.
- Proficiency in Python or PERL.
- Proficiency in linux (e.g., Redhat and Ubuntu).
- Experience with Illumina sequencing platform.
- Willing to work in a start-up environment
- High integrity and genuine care about customers.
